Kicker: Loose horses

MARY REICHARD, HOST: Motorists outside Atlanta on Saturday saw something they won’t soon forget, a bunch of horses running loose down Highway 78.

Police galloped to the rescue. They stopped traffic and tried to coral the equines until help from a nearby horse ranch showed up.

Brad Williams with Little Creek Horse Farm says someone left one of their gates open— and the horses made a break for it.

WILLIAMS: Fortunately nobody got hurt. They all had a good gallop up the road and nobody got hurt.

The horse owners say they taking steps to make sure the horses stay put from now on.
