MARY REICHARD, HOST: You’ve heard of emotional support dogs, right?
Well, how about emotional support squirrels?
Earlier this month, a woman brought her rodent onto a Frontier Airlines flight to Cleveland.
Orlando International Airport officials explained that squirrels aren’t on the list of approved service animals.
The woman wouldn’t budge. So everyone had to deplane so local police could remove the woman and her squirrel.
Frontier’s policy on emotional support animals specifically prohibits passengers from squirreling away “rodents, reptiles, insects, hedgehogs,” and other non-traditional service animals.
